Photos are expensive. I feel you. I remember trying to stay on a budget for my wedding and felt like I jumped out of a plane without a parachute.
But here’s the deal: the only thing I have left from my wedding (besides the actual marriage of course) are my photos. In fact, photos are all I have that can even jog my memory of all the major and the mundane life events that have happened since that day.
You’re trusting me to document and deliver the images that will be the only things that outlive your actual memory. I don’t take that lightly. I want to get to know you, and get a good feel for what photos will mean the most to you, because no, it's not the same for everyone.

Asking Heather to take our engagement/ wedding photos was the BEST decision ever. Heather took the time to understand who we are as a couple and what we wanted/envisioned our wedding photos to be. She is spunky, fun, and great at coaching us how to pose. We had a blast during our engagement sessions. Oh and the pictures- holy cow! Our photos are everything I need them to be and more. They are artistic, dreamy, professional, and so aesthetically perfect. Heather was able to capture who we are as a couple- goofy, so in love, and obsessed with our dog. She took time to get to know us personally and she captured all of our favorite moments as a couple and with friends and families, along with all of the little details that we put so much thought into. We were anxious for our engagement session since we are not used to having professional photos taken of us, but we loved it and my husband even said it felt more like a "fun date!" I could not ask for a better photographer than Heather! She was amazing every step of the way...from booking her, to scheduling engagement pictures, to planning the big day. She answered all my questions and gave me her advice, which made our day run so smoothly. The communication before the wedding ensured everything went so smoothly on our wedding day. The day of our wedding she made sure we were always on schedule and that we got every picture we wanted.
